Student-Driven and Inclusive Pedagogy
My pedagogy promotes inquiry, evidence-based problem solving, and inclusivity. I structure all of my classes around questions that challenge students to think critically about complicated real-world issues and develop creative, evidence-based solutions.
This approach trains students to drive their progress while prioritizing deep knowledge and intellectual growth for their unique goals. I also rely on simple, practical questions like, “What kind of exam format will allow you to demonstrate your progress?” or “Should we move through this chapter faster, slower, or at the same pace as the last one?” to open the door to communication, accessibility, and inclusion.
